Jennifer L. House has been board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1991. Prior to forming BMHG, Jennifer House practiced at Phillips & Akers as a Partner.  Jennifer was a founding partner of House & House, P.C. During her 21 year tenure as a defense attorney Jennifer has focused her practice in the areas of medical malpractice defense, premises security liability, employment law and commercial litigation involving allegations of fraud, defamation and tortious interference. Jennifer has also litigated both employment and product liability issues in several Federal District Courts. She has successfully tried scores of serious cases to jury verdict in Harris, Galveston, Jefferson, Brazoria, and Fort Bend Counties, as well as U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern districts. She has been instrumental in developing risk management policies and procedures for some of the largest residential real estate companies in the country, and is considered preeminent in that field. Ms. House has often served as a speaker for physicians groups, premises management and ownership companies, and she has spoken on many litigation related topics for continuing legal education for attorneys.

Ms. House was born in Corvallis, Oregon on December 13, 1961; she was admitted to the state bar of Texas in 1985 and is authorized to practice in the United States District Courts of the Southern, Eastern and Northern divisions.
